At Chazoku, our Single-Cultivar Ceremonial matcha is 100% shade-grown, stone-milled with no artificial dyes, flavors, or additives. To keep this verifiable, we published Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for our products on their respective product pages. 

No dyes or additives. We have never used dyes or additives in our plain matcha offerings. Our Supercharged/Performance matcha drinks include functional ingredients such as monk fruit and vanilla extract—no artificial colorants—and are distinct from our single-cultivar matcha.

Per-lot COAs. We published the third-party lab report for each matcha type being sold on their respective product pages.

Sourcing. Primarily Kyoto and Shizuoka Prefectures, Japan (any other region will be stated on the product page/COA).

No supplier affiliations. We are not affiliated with Marukyu Koyamaen (MK) or any other brand. We’re open to building future relationships with farms to support storage and distribution in the U.S., and we’d welcome the opportunity to explore an official collaboration in the near future.

Label address updated. Our labels now display only Chazoku’s facility  address, consistent with per FDA labeling guidelines.

Traceability. Every pack carries a Lot Code and Best-By date.
